The tool is highlighted with a blue circle on the image above. This tool is used for moving the objects around the scene and it supports all the other tools perfectly
With this tool you can manipulate all the added custom objects, this way you don't always need to go back to the tool which was used when creating the object. The different snaps will help you to move all the objects to their desired places.
Move
Point with tool controllers pointer to the desired object, when object gets highlighted, click and hold tool controllers touch wheel to move the object around, releasing the touchwheel stops the current action
Copy
Point with tool controllers pointer to the desired object, when object gets highlighted, click and hold tool controllers trigger to copy, and then move the object to the desired place, releasing the trigger stops the current action
1. Close tool
Close the current tool and return to the tool menu
2. Clear selection
Clears the selection of the selected object or objects
3. Select whole hierarchy
When selecting the object, selects the whole object, if it consists of different parts
All the different snaps what the tool includes
1. Snap to plane (x-axis as normal)
Locks the object movement on x-axis
2. Snap to plane (y-axis as normal)
Locks the object movement on y-axis
3. Snap to plane (z-axis as normal)
Locks the object movement on z-axis
4. Lock position
Locks the objects current position
5. Lock rotation
Locks the objects rotation, so model can't be rotated
6. Incremental rotation
Objects rotation is locked to 90° angles
7. Snap to closest axis
Snaps the objects position to the closest axis
8. Snap to surface
Snaps the object to an surface
